Let's address the elephant in the room: you're here because you're either in a relationship and want validation, considering a relationship and want reassurance, or recently out of one and want an explanation. All three are valid. None of them will be fully answered by a calculator on the internet, but you already know that, and you're here anyway.

This calculator compares two people's Life Path numbers (from birth dates) and Destiny numbers (from names) to produce a compatibility score. It's based on established numerological pairing principles — the same ones we use in our full compatibility chart and compatibility calculator — but with the addition of name-based numbers for a more layered reading.

Is it going to tell you whether to stay or leave? No. Is it going to give you something to think about? Probably.

The Calculator

Enter both names (birth certificate names for best results) and both birth dates. The calculator will compute Life Path and Destiny numbers for each person, then score the compatibility across both dimensions.

How This Calculator Works

Behind the single percentage are two separate calculations:

Life Path compatibility (60% of the score): Your Life Path number comes from your birth date and represents your core identity. We compare both Life Path numbers against a compatibility matrix based on established numerological principles — the same data behind our full compatibility chart. This is the bigger factor because Life Path represents who you fundamentally are, and that's what you live with day-to-day.

Destiny number compatibility (40% of the score): Your Destiny/Expression number comes from your birth name and represents your natural talents and growth direction. When two people's Destiny numbers align, they tend to support each other's ambitions and development. When they clash, one person's growth can feel threatening to the other — not because it actually is, but because it's heading somewhere unfamiliar.

The weighted average gives you a single score, but the breakdown below it is where the actual insight lives. A couple that scores 65% overall might have a 90% Life Path match and a 25% Destiny match — and that tells a very different story than a couple who scores 65% on both dimensions.

The Honest Disclaimer

Every numerology compatibility tool, including this one, has a fundamental limitation: it can only evaluate numbers, and you're not a number. You're a person with a history, a psychology, a set of experiences that no calculation can capture. Two people with "perfect" numerological compatibility can have a terrible relationship if one of them is emotionally unavailable. Two people with "terrible" compatibility can build something beautiful if both are committed to understanding and accommodating each other.

Use this calculator the way you'd use any personality framework: as a conversation starter, not a conclusion. If the score surprises you — higher or lower than expected — ask yourself why. The answer is usually more interesting than the number itself.
